David Garrett Plays Flight of the Bumble Bee on The Oprah Show

Virtuoso violinist David Garrett, dubbed “ The fastest Violin player on the planet” by Oprah, played “The Flight of the Bumble Bee “ on Oprah yesterday to an astounded Host and an estimated 42 million viewers including his fans cheering for him and hanging on to every second of his brief appearance.
David Garrett plays “ The Flight of the Bumblebee” in 66 seconds or 13 notes per second, which will be documented in the 2010 Guinness Book of World Records.

Mr. Garrett who keeps a very demanding International concert schedule, had to reschedule a concert in Dallas to appear on Oprah. Many fans were hoping for more exposure on Oprah but from Mr. Garrett’s fast growing fan page on Face Book since the show it seems that even a one minute exposure to Mr. Garrett leaves people smitten.

This post is the second in a series of posts in the category” Personal” where I share my personal finding and interests with our readers. I first heard David Garrett on PBS and would like to do my share of exposing the world to his talent.
